Beating the Winter Blues with SomeBud-dy

A Wild Winter Excursion

Hey Rize fam, it’s Michelle!   I’ve lived in the midwest most of my life. Every winter comes and there are a solid few weeks of excitement for me - the snow is so beautiful and the buzz about the holidays has started. I've never had too much interest in winter sports and there are only so many times I can go outside and shovel before I start to dread the remaining months.

I’m a baby when it comes to the cold - truthfully, I'm only outside if I have to be. Last year I was really feeling the impact staying inside was having on me. We had recently had a long quarantine and I was feeling lost. I truly didn't think winter would ever end at this point. A friend of mine from Wisconsin wanted to go see the Eben Ice Caves; I had never seen anything like it and I was excited to join her. I searched for where we were going online and saw it was a 2.2 mile hike to see them. 2 miles? That didn't sound bad at all. I love hiking! The website also suggests ice grippers for the bottom of your boots so you don't slip. I went and picked up a cheap set at the store for her and I.

We suited up and headed to the Caves. I brought a few Wedding Cake pre-rolls and when we arrived we both shared one before putting on our ice grippers. This was a teachable moment for me, because I noticed the “icy” trail was honestly one giant sheet of ice. Our Ice grippers fell off about every 10 minutes. I definitely bought the wrong ones! We could not stop laughing! I was struggling to walk on the ice without them so we just had to stop and backtrack every time they fell off. We were determined though!

I cannot tell you how long it took us to get there; I was laughing so hard I was literally crying and at this point. With all of our stops, it would be a miracle if we got back before dark. So, after getting a bit lost and a ton of wipeouts…. we finally made it to the top. It was beyond beautiful and rewarding to sit and see the caves. We were already exhausted, but I realized it was the most fun I had all year. I have not laughed that much in ages. The motivation from the pre-roll we smoked earlier was still lingering. I don’t think we would have been able to find so much amusement in the whole journey without it.

That's always been my favorite part about Cannabis… it can enhance any moment. Now, smoking Cannabis is a huge part of my morning routine in the Winter. When I smoke, I feel a warm wave of comfort and it really jump-starts my day. You don't need a specific reason why you use Cannabis. Sometimes, it just helps you feel good. And that's okay! If you're looking for a reason to try Cannabis, we are here to help you find something to enhance your life. Come see us soon and beat the winter blues :)

Valentine's Day is a time to celebrate the special bond of love that we share with our significant others. And for many couples, cannabis can be a powerful tool to enhance intimacy and deepen emotional connections. One of the most profound effects of cannabis is its ability to create empathy and understanding. When consumed, cannabis can reduce feelings of anxiety and paranoia, and increase feelings of warmth and compassion. This can make communicating and connecting with our loved ones easier, leading to deeper and more meaningful relationships. Cannabis can also be used to enhance intimacy in the bedroom. By reducing inhibitions and increasing pleasure, cannabis can help couples to be more open and adventurous in their lovemaking. According to a survey conducted by the website HelloMD , over 60% of couples who use cannabis reported that it improved their sexual experiences. Cannabis can also promote patience and understanding. It can be helpful in situations where one person is feeling more anxious or stressed, and the other person is feeling more relaxed. By helping to balance emotions and improve communication, cannabis can create an environment where both partners feel more comfortable and understood. In Michigan, Rize Stores offer a wide range of cannabis products that can be used to enhance intimacy and connection. From sensual topicals and aphrodisiac edibles to relaxing strains of flowers and concentrates, Rize Stores has something for everyone looking to improve their love life. It's important to note that cannabis should be used responsibly, and always with the guidance of a medical professional. And as always, it's important to start low and go slow when trying a new product or strain. In conclusion, as we celebrate Valentine's Day, let's take a moment to acknowledge the powerful role that cannabis can play in enhancing intimacy and connection with our loved ones. It's a day to appreciate the bond of love that we share with our significant others, and cannabis can be a powerful tool in improving the quality of our relationships. Rize Stores in Michigan offer a wide range of products that can help couples to create deeper emotional connections, and invite you to join the Rize Family and discover the benefits of cannabis for yourself. Whether it's through a shared joint, a relaxing massage with a cannabis-infused topical, or a romantic dinner with cannabis-infused edibles, cannabis can be a powerful tool to help couples to connect on a deeper level. On this Valentine's Day, let's take the time to appreciate the special bond we share with our loved ones, and explore the ways that cannabis can help to enhance intimacy and deepen emotional connections.
